I am currently a student at the University of Kansas studying Journalism with a concentration in sports media and society. I enjoy photography and being able to turn an event into an everlasting memory. Currently shooting athletic events for the Lawrence Journal World, as well as The University Daily Kansan, my skills behind the lens of a camera continue to develop with each opportunity.
My desire to learn and will to succeed has led to an adventurous career. In 2020, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in sports management while competing on the school's club baseball team. During this time and after graduation, I worked for professional baseball teams, USA Triathlon, and the City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation department.
My love for sports has led me to wanting to pursue a career in sports journalism. I have base knowledge in all sports, but have expansive knowledge of baseball, basketball and motorsports. While focusing on sports photography, I have gained experience in covering sports in many different ways and continue to develop my future career plans.
